The inaugural function of the Dr. G.M.M. Health Care (Chennai) and Chennai District Chess Association’s collaborative event, the Dr. G.M.M – A.P.J Abdul Kalam Trophy Chess Tournament, took place today. This event witnessed the presence of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s brother, A.P.J.M. Sheik Dawood, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the International Association of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Global Foundation, and Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s nephew, A.P.J.M. Sheik Dawood, was honored.

Gracing the occasion was esteemed guests, including Grand Master RB. Ramesh, Woman Grand Master Arthi Ramasamy, and Grand Master R. Praggnanandhaa, who presented the awards and made the event truly special.
